Bond Paper - Good quality papers used for stationary, forms and other documents having a basic weight of more than 60 gsm, often containing a watermark.

Board - Generic term used for stiff paper usually made in several layers with a substrate normally varying from 160 to 500/g/m², for certain grades even higher: widely used for packaging (e.g. folding cartons) and graphic applications.

Caliper - The thickness of paper.  In the metric system it is usually expressed in hundredths of a millimeter (like 0,09mm) or micro meter (like 150 μm).

Cast Coated - coated paper, dried under pressure against a polished cylinder to produce a high gloss finish.

Grammage - The weight of a material such as paper defined in grams per square meter (gsm or g/m²).

GSM - (g/m²) Abbreviation grams per square meter.  A method of indicating the substance of paper on the basis of weight in grams per square meter.

Ream - Certain number of sheets of paper, wrapped in protecting paper.
